Eric Leary is an accomplished rising technical director, fabricator, drafter, and project manager who was worked in theatre, opera, dance, film and TV, corperate events, and everything in between. He is originally from Geneseo, New York, and earned his BA at SUNY Geneseo in both theatre and physics before beginning his post graduate studies at California Institute of the Arts where he is currently enrolled. His previous experience include Technical Directing shows such as An Enemy of the People and A Number at CalArts, serving as Assistant Technical Director for major operatic productions such as Dalibor and Le Prophete at Bard Summerscape, lighting designer for Bridge Street Theater, and working on electrics crews for Barrington Stage Company, Geva Theatre Center, as well as freelance carpentry.
